- Fabric rubbing on sharp edges

- Loose, missing, or corroded bolts, nuts, turnbuckles, or snap hooks
- Bent or damaged brackets, D‑rings, or plates
- Secure attachment to posts/anchors (no wobble)
- Frame & Posts
- Cracks, bends, or deformation in frame members
- Rust, flaking paint, or corrosion on metal
- Wood posts: signs of rot, insect damage, or soft spots
- Base plates and welds appear sound
- Anchors & Foundations
- Anchors are visible and seated (no uplift)
- Concrete pads or footings are intact (no major cracks)
- Soil erosion or undermining around anchors
- Drainage & Water
- Pooling water on or around structure
- Gutters/drains are clear (if applicable)
- Signs of water staining or mold near foundations
- Debris & Vegetation
- Leaves, branches, or trash on fabric or gutters removed
- Nearby tree limbs trimmed away from structure
- No bird nests or heavy droppings on fabric
- Safety & Access
- No sharp edges or exposed fasteners at head/hand height
- Pathways under structure clear and unobstructed
- Emergency access routes clear
- Weather / Seasonal Concerns
- High-wind or storm damage noted
- Snow/ice accumulation observed (remove per protocol)
- Storage or removal needed for upcoming severe weather
